This Pinot Noir showcases red berries fruit typicity and the freshness of the Elqui Valley terroir nearby the Pacific Ocean. The wine was aged for eight months in a mix of foudres, concrete eggs and barrels in order to achieve a subtle and balanced integration of oak which is representative of 1865’s sophisticated style.

Shiny, pale ruby colour.

Nose

Aromas of red fruit like sweet morello cherries, intermingled with notes of earth and mushrooms.

Palate

Fresh with notable acidity. This wine has excellent structure with silky tannins that bring out the freshness in the mouth. It is well-balanced with a pleasant, fruity finish.

Ideal to pair with duck, salmon, vegetables. Serving temperature: 14º C - 16º C.
